Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Sean and I just opened our presents together and are now getting ready for 2 full days of family! I'm so excited! This is what I love about the holidays! Family time... ok and maybe a present or two doesn't hurt anyone, right?

Hope you all have a safe day traveling if you are and get to make many memories this holiday!!!

The game plan

I have a lot I need to accomplish today.
A lot.
A ton.
Way to much!
We are in operation Clean our house. Except when I say we, I mean I.
Sean had to work today and is actually getting paid to do nothing really as he waits for some supplies to be delivered to Quinter. They were supposed to show around 7ish I think. Well at this time, they still haven't arrived. I guess their truck broke down and are waiting for another truck or mechanic or something. So, this job that was supposed to take like 3 hours is taking more like 6+ if not more.
It's great because it's more money for us, but Sean and bored to death there. He says he can't pick up a decent radio station. Not much to do in Quinter.
So I'm in the middle of cleaning our closet right now. I've taken out the fall/summer stuff and put it away in tubs. I hung up the winter attire and now I'm going through Sean's stuff. Hope to convince him to donate some of his clothes. Truly, I think he has more than me!
Here's the rest of my to-do. If you're bored and want to come help, I'd probably love you more than Swedish fish! (Right Tara?)
1. Clean bathroom
2. Clean tub
3. Organize hallway closet
4. Clean up kitchen
5. Dishes - check
6. Wash laundry - check
7. Fold laundry
8. Put away laundry
9. Wrap Christmas gifts
10. Finish organizing craft room
11. Clean drawers in guest room
12. Clean drawers in bedroom - check
That's a lot. And I'm to do it all today so tomorrow I can work on crafts or other things!
ETA: Sean's still not home yet... kinda lonely on my weekend off! Hopefully he's home soon! He's gonna be putting in an 8+ hour day now!

Missed it again...

My 2nd time missing stalk a blog Monday. Wanna know why I missed it? Because I felt sleeping 13+ hours sounded like more fun! Duh!

Anyways, here's a blog to stalk. It's called Joy's Hope and is yet, another crafty blog! My favorite kind! She has tons of cute ideas... so if you are in a crafty mood, head there for motivation and ideas!

Nothing to exciting around the Rodger house. We *Finally* got the tree up. Sean did it all, while I slept! Love him!

Know what he did while I slept last night? Cleaned the whole house, folded laundry and did dishes! Praise him!
Thanks, bub!

Here's a lovely pic of the tree Sean put up and decorated!! I *might* be getting closer to being the the Christmas mood! I did manage to wrap a few gifts!

Oh, and I still have Christmas shopping to do. I've been procrastinating big time this year!

Good night!

December 14, 2008

Oh, the weather outside is frightful...

Say it with me... BURRRR! Omigoodness (better Becca?) it's freezing outside today.

I.HATE.Winter.

I'm much more of a warm weather type of girl!

Besides that, nothing really going on in Rodgerville today. We went to church this morning, then to Taco Shop for lunch and then headed to Wally World for some stuff. After we got home, I took a much need nap. And now I'm cleaning my office/blogging. Oh my life is exciting!

Last night when I was blogging I found Miss Reese bundled up in some slip couch covers that I'm getting rid of. She looked so cute! So of course I had to take a picture! She is SO cute!

Well that's about it! Oh, I did want to mention one thing.

To whomever it is that feels the need to leave stupid anonymous comments... please stop. It's immature. If you don't like my blog... don't visit.
I do know you are from the Topeka area and I'm hoping my friends that I know of that check this aren't doing it. Actually I'm pretty sure you wouldn't do that, b/c friends don't do things like that to other friends.
Enough said.

Wow...

it has been a LONG time since I've blogged. Basically I've been sickly and lacked all motivation in this world. But I have managed to sleep about 13 hours a night a few times and lots of naps! I.LOVE.SLEEP.
Went to the doc and got some meds and I'm feeling better now! Still tired, but that'll never change!

Today I went and had a *craft* day with my friend Becca. We made some Christmas wreaths and they turned out so cute and were super easy. Becca made the more traditional wreath and I went with more modern. Sean could pick out the one I did because of the colors! I'm a non-traditional Christmas color kinda a girl I guess.
Not looking so hot in the pictures since I didn't bother to do my hair since I went and got a hair cut shortly after. I'm *thinking* of growing it out a bit. I say *thinking* because I'm a cut my hair at any moment if it pisses me off kinda girl. So I'm hoping to let it grow a little bit. I've had short hair since 2 days after my wedding. I like it short, but I need *change*(Do I sound like OBAMA...eck).
Gotta spice up my life a bit.

What else...
Sean and I are going to start super organizing the house. We need to get the basement finished so I can move our washer and dryer out of our ghetto kitchen. No offense to those that have their laundry in their kitchen, but I *HATE* it. Really. I do.
It's not pretty.
It's ghetto looking.
We have no space.
And it's not pretty.
So Sean and I are hoping to have the basement completely finished with the laundry room DOWNSTAIRS by my birthday. We have lots of work to do. Painting, organizing, some plumbing work and then decorating!
The decorating is my part, if you couldn't guess.
Oh, and if you'd love to be a friend, you are more welcome to come help!
Thanks.

Well this post is a bit lengthy so I'll say peace out now. Hopefully I'll get back into the swing of blogging.
I've missed it!

December 4, 2008

Awww moment

My husband is pretty spectacular tonight. He bought birthday cake ice cream for me :) Say it with me...awwww! Yeah, I LOVE this stuff. Really love it.

Still sickly, but better. I should make it, incase anyone was worried!

December 2, 2008

Ugh,

I'm still sickly :( I do *NOT* like being sick. I tried going into work this morning but that only lasted until 11. Came home and went to bed for a while. Feeling the itsy bit better. So I'm hoping all will be well tomorrow. I feel so out of my routine when I'm sick. I've done well the past 2 weeks getting up early and getting stuff done in the mornings, so I feel *lazy* now.
So I missed STALK A BLOG MONDAY and so it's a day late. This one is another craft one!!! So many cool ideas for tutorials and other things. It's Today's Creative Blog. I'm bookmarked tons of tutorials! Love it!
So... if you know me, then you know I *heart* pictures, really. Today I received the pictures from the Rodger Family pictures. They are *SO* good, if I may say. I put them in frames and will need to get a few more when I go to hobby lob next Monday. Also need to order a few more, then my wall will be complete. I think Sean is going to be super excited to help hang them up!!! I'll post a pic when it's all hung up!
Well, I think that's enough! Peace!

November 30, 2008

Sicko

Ugh, I got sick. And I'm hating it!

The game was good, actually it was great the last 5 minutes. The rest of the time I froze. I had 5 layers of clothing, hand warmers and foot warmers (that didn't work), and a blanket. I was miserable. The end of the game was really good. Probably one of the best games I have ever been too. I just wish it wasn't so cold. I'll blog more about it later. I'm off to bed to rest. I have a fever, cough, running nose, and aches to get rid of before tomorrow! Send me some mental get well soon wishes! I need em'!

November 28, 2008

It's Game Day Eve... from the mouth of Sara

And we are off for the KU- Missouri game! It's frigid today and lightly snowing. Hoping that tomorrow is sunshine-filled and hot temps. Ok, so maybe I'm dreaming! Don't worry though, because I bought hand warmers and feet warmers. Hopefully they work!

Have a wonderful weekend and cheer on those Jayhawks!!

(think of me when I'm freezing my hiney off!)

Happy Turkey Day

As I sit here at my mom and dad's for our family thanksgiving, I started thinking about everything I'm thankful for. Here's my list...

1. My husband - I considered myself a pretty lucky gal. He's my rock, my best friend. I love you!

2. My families - I have a great family and a great 2nd family! Both families have been more than helpful when Sean and I got married and continue to support as today. We love you!

3. Reese- My furbaby that I love more than anything!!

4. My friends - I cherish the friendships I have had for a long time and grateful for all the new friendships I've formed!

5. FOOD - Yup, love food!

6. My job- I might not like it at times, but it pays the bills and allows Sean and I to have a life! With this job I don't work weekends and have off on Holiday's which allows us to spend more time together and do all the things we love like the lake, Ku games, traveling, etc!

There's tons more but I think that sums it up for now!

Hope you all have/had a great Thanksgiving!

Soon to be Turkey day!

I *love* family time. I love being around people and spending holidays with the ones I/we love! I can't believe that tomorrow is the day I will gain 5 lbs and then in under 30 days it will be Christmas! Love, love, love the holiday! I love the meaning, the cooking, the decoration, the presents, the shopping, the wrapping... get my point?

Tomorrow we are heading to Russell to do the lunch thing with Sean's family. Then it will be a trip to GB for dinner with mine! Lots of travel but it's nice to get to spend this day with all of our families!

I'm super excited about my post for tomorrow... I'm pre-blogging in my head!

Night ya'll!

November 25, 2008

I forgot...

to blog about how awesome of a wife I am! Duh!?! How could i forget! Anyways, the way to my husbands heart is through KU or XBOX. Well he's been wanting the new NCAA 2009 and yesterday I got it for him! :) I know it's nothing *BIG* but it' something to let him know he's appreciated! It's not like the guy wants me to buy him flowers to show him how much I love him. Instead I buy him Xbox games so he can spend quality time with the TV instead of me! :) Love you, Bub!

Also, I forgot to blog that Sean and I are headed to KC for the KU- Missouri game! I'm really excited to go and tailgate and watch them *WIN* hopefully! I love planning, as you should know, so I'm excited to get a menu together and make some awesome food. I even have cute lil napkins too! We are going out kinda sorta big... we have the KU canopy, a grill, banners, and food! Come see us if you'll be at the game!

I'm so thankful that Sean and I have the opportunity to go out and do things like this! It's one of my most favorite things I love about him. He's not much for staying at home and this way we can go and experience things together and makes memories in the process! I'm beyond *Blessed* and oh, so thankful for him and our marriage!
I *HEART* YOU!

A day late...

of, course. That's how I roll! Fashionably late! Actually, Sean is the more of the fashionably late and I'm more like 5 minutes early! Anyways, it's 6:30 as I type this! I was really planning on doing this last night, but I was exhausted. It was early to bed for me!

Nothing new in the love world of the Rodger's. Sean spent the evening watching the KU game and I spent it cleaning up the kitchen and going to bed! Yeah, I really exciting! I was hoping to sew my items last night and then I thought I'd do it this morning but both of those are negative. Hopefully tonight! Actually, I more or less need to do it tonight for sure!

So here's this segment of STALK THIS BLOG! It's called 30 days and gives tutorials for homemade items, which I *heart* right now. Anyways, they have some AWESOME ideas and have already added some on to my to-do list! Now if only I had more time!

Oh, and for a countdown... only 1 month til Christmas!

November 23, 2008

Man I'm loved!

by you two girls! I feel *honored* that you guys actually get excited to read what I blog about considering we see each other just about everyday! Man, I *love* blogging!
Let's see, Sean and I had quite the weekend! I had 2 photo shoots this weekend which went really well! 1 was a new client and the other was a returning client! So I was and still am really excited about that! :) After the session, I was talking to Sean on my way home and found out that his Uncle Ron ran into his pick-up! He took out the driver's side front bumper and broke the light and crushed in a few other things. It's still drivable, just not very pretty! We've been talking about get him a new one, and now it looks like we will be doing that! We are hoping they will just total it out b/c what the truck is worth and the $$ in damages will be close to the same. At least that's what we are thinking/hoping for! Then after that wonderful news, I found out that Sean's cousin KJ and his 9-yr-old son Luke were coming to stay with us for the night. They had rented a cabin out at Lake Wilson but was unable to get into it! So in a mad dash we cleaned the upstairs. It's pretty much been our holding room for Christmas presents and such. But there were also some junk items up there as well. So we shoved things into the closets, vacuumed and dusted and managed to make it look clean! A deceiving clean, but it was never-the-less clean! We all went to eat at Gella's! We. Heart. Gella's. I didn't have a beer but now today a lemon ale sounds*SOO* good!
To finish off our night we all fell asleep around 10:30. Exciting, huh?

Which leads me to now! Happy Sunday! I have a *HUGE* list to accomplish today! Here goes...
1. Finish Tara's pics - check
2. Upload Becca's pics - check
3. Design Wanda's Christmas Card and Collage- check
4. Work on parents Christmas card - check
5. Work on MY Christmas card
6. Finish the Perez's pictures - check
7. Start both yesterday's Session

And I'd also love to sew a few baby things! I need to make a gift for someone by Wednesday and need to really get that done! - half check

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Hump day...

Thank goodness it's Hump day! I wish I was saying, Thank goodness its Friday, but hump day will do for now! Today at work we had the Dr. from Denver in, so of course it was a busy day! He's a great doctor to work for. We don't have to baby him and he's self sufficient and nice on top of that! But when he is here it makes for a really long day... I got out at 5:30 and I know a few other girls were there way after (but that could be b/c they were wanting Botox! :) ) Then Becca and her fab kids came over and we did some shots of Eli - they are super cute!!! I can't wait to work on them! And now I write this when I should be working on pictures, but I'm to tired! I'm going to clean and up and go lay in bed and go to bed EARLY if I can! I wanted to post some pictures we took this weekend with Sean's family! They turned out fabulous! Now I get to work on our Christmas cards for this year!! Ok, well I tried uploading pics but blogger won't let me. I guess next time!

And again, I have stuff I really want to blog about but I'm way to tired! So we'll save that for a raining day!

P.S. Becca, anytime you want to bring me that ice cream you can! I'll be waiting! :)

P.S.S. Tara, my back hurts. It nnnneeeeeeeeeeeeddddssss you!

Night my peeps!

It's Stalk This Blog Monday!

Today's Stalk A Blog is PatchyApple. It's an awesome site for different crafts things. Whenever we have kids, I'm going to sew my own car seat cover and make a homemade teether ring! I'd much rather have homemade than premade any day! Especially when it's being *frugal* (still haven't come up with a good word yet!) and *green*. And it's much safer for kiddos!

Have I mentioned I love bloggin? I like being able to sit down and write stuff that *MAYBE* someone would find helpful or heck, even make some one's day - (ok, probably not but maybe someday).

Here's what is new in the Rodger household. Saturday was spent putting up our new child - the 8 ft jayhawk in order for the game. I then spent the day cleaning, working on photography, and organizing. My wonderful husband also put up my new sconces, a decorative sign, and cleaned the tub! He's pretty amazing...(but don't tell him I said that!)

On Sunday we were going to try to go to church but didn't end up making it. We went to Wal-mart then started cooking for our family get together that evening. I then had an awesome shoot with the "New girl" at work and got some fantabulous pictures! After that session The Rodger clan got together and we got some pictures taken, then everyone came over for some awesome food my awesome husband cooked! I should add, I made some *amazing* potatoes!
And to sum up the day, Sean and I watched What Happens in Vegas. It's was good but had some slow parts! So slow, Sean fell asleep for a bit! Oh, and we also had to put up our child again since KU have a basketball game to play - of, course!

All in all, it was a good weekend! I have more I want to write about but not enough time. My awesome friend Becca recently wrote about how *blessed* she was and everything she was *thankful* for and I want to do a blog about that... good topic, Becca. Very fitting for this up-coming Holiday!!!

November 15, 2008

A full weekend!

Again... I have a lot I want to accomplish this weekend! Here's the list!

1. Hang sconces - check
2. Hang new sign in living room - check
3. Finish Perez pictures - check- and customs- check
4. Upload samples to website - check
5. Stalk a few blogs - check X 10
6. Clean up craft room - check
7. Hang picture frames in craft room
8. Wash Laundry - check
9. Dry Laundry - check
10. Fold Laundry - check
11. Put away Laundry
12. Clean basement floor
13. List some things on Nex-tech
14. Start pantry shelf
15. Pick paint color for basement

Hmm... that should be good for now. Like I said, a lot to do! I did have a photo session today but it got canceled so that should give me more time to get this all done!

Oh, last night Sean and I went over to our friends' house, Tony and Deb. We were just hanging out and Deb and I started watching Barbara Walters special with the woman turned man who got pregnant and is now pregnant AGAIN. All I have to say is it was weird watching a man push out a baby. And one doctor said she has delivered close to 35-40 deliveries were the MAN had the baby.... that was a lot to handle. Power to em' but it was still weird.

Alrighty, have a wonderful day and Good Luck KU! And yes, Sean did put up our beautiful 8 ft Jayhawk today! Nice...

Tuesday's To-do's

Back to organizing. I didn't quite get everything done that I wanted. Truth be told, I didn't even get half! But any is better than none! So here's today's. The good news is I only work until 12. So I'll have sometime to work!

1. Grocery List
2. Blog Sunday's pictures
3. E-mail price list to potential client
4. Upload Tuesday's pictures and begin working
5. Sunday's custom storyboards
6. Start budget
7. Order 2 picture orders! - check

That should keep me busy!

Lots to do!

I am so proud of myself. Why, you might ask? Well I'd love to tell you. I've gotten up at 5:30 or 5:45 for the past 3 days. I got up at 5:15 Monday and couldn't fall back asleep. So after getting ready for the day, I had all this time and was able to get a lot of things done! I loved it! So I'm hoping to continue doing it! I also have more energy during the day and sleep better at night! I've managed to stay up on the laundry daily - yes, I said daily. Normally it's a every 4 or 5 days and ends up being a pain so I'm pumped!

Actually, I'm just excited to be back to organizing and stuff. It seems that for a little while I was in a slump of some sort and couldn't get motivated to do much. So I'm happy I'm back to where I was before. And I have tons I need to do to "make up" for my laziness!

So here's my today's to-do list! Sean will be at basketball tonight so I'll have the house to myself for a few hours :)

1. Edit Sunday's session pictures - check
3. Upload yesterday's pictures
4. Hang up laundry that's drying now
5. Organize my bookmarks on my computer
6. Place 2 photo orders
7. Clean out Inbox - check
8. Make homemade cleaners - check
9. Start on budget

I think that's enough, right? Hope you have a blessed and organized day, too! :)

Oh, one more thing! I need some help with a better word for *frugal*. Frugal makes me feel frumpy so I need a *cute* word that means the same! Any suggestions? Best suggestion wins.... something - maybe! :)

Peace and love kids!

Stalk this Website!

Here's my Monday's STALK THIS WEBSITE! As I've blogged recently (like 10 minutes ago) you know I WANT to do the *green* and *frugal* thing. This website is a great site to save money using coupons and saving strategies at different stores. It's unbelievable how these people get such deals and I *hope* to be able to do it. Still in the learning phases but I will start soon! And again, it's a MOM website and yes, I know I'm not a Mom, but it'll be great for when I am a Mom. Plus I'll already have it down by that time! So happy stalking!

Weekend round-up

Oh. My. Goodness! I had a fantabulous weekend! I love my annual Mother-Daughter shopping trip and boy did we do that. We decided to take my Durango instead of my Mom's Cadillac so we'd have more room and amen for that. The back of my Durango was completely full and I couldn't see out of the back window and also the backseat was completely full. I, uh, almost hit a car (oops) and when I slammed on the brakes we got showered in bags full of the stuff we bought! Overall we had a great time. Also hung out with my brother and his girlfriend and went out for Kev's birthday! The big 23! OOHH, weird story. Mom and I were getting ready to leave to head home and we were at this stoplight. I look to my left (the turning lane) and notice this lady and her 2 kids staring at me. So I look away and I could still *feel* them looking at me so I turned my head again and this time the window was down. So I put my window down, hoping this lady with 2 kids wasn't going to shoot me, and the lady asks me, "Are you married to Sean Rodger?" How entirely weird was that. I didn't know who she was but she said she went to school with him and that her name is Tiffany. It was pretty bizarre. Never in a million years would I have thought that's what she was going to ask me. I assumed I had a flat or something. Oh, and she tells me that she's seen me on Facebook and that's how she recognized me! Weird!

Anywho, busy week ahead. I have 3 photography sessions this week and a few orders to place so I'll be busy. And I'm in super organize mode and want to "re-do" my house with some stuff that I found.

Excluding this weekend, I'm trying to become more *green* and *frugal*! Honest, I am. And it's a super fun thing to do. Tonight I'm going to make some homemade cleaning supplies that I found here. What's better than being *green* and *frugal*. I'm liking this :)

Happy & Wonderful Monday ya'll!

November 7, 2008

uh-oh!

I'm in trouble! I spent a bit to much today and still have tomorrow to go. Becca dear - I got a new purse! It's not a Valentino but it should do for a month or so until I decide I "NEED" a new one! :)

I'm exhausted from Shopping and need to gear up for tomorrow. Shopping should so be a sport!

November 5, 2008

"Change" is upon us...

Who knows if this is "change" is going to be good for America or bad but Sean and I both tend to believe that this so called wonderful "change" is in to hurt rather than make good! I think supporting someone that is pro-choice, someone that wants to raise taxes, someone that has terrorist ties, and someone that lacks experience (c'mon people, he only served 143 days in the senate) is retarded. That's only 1 session of "governmental" (is that a word?) work. Sure he has experience in other areas of politics, but in my opinion that's not enough! Why oh why would we want that? (I know, obviously a lot of people did).

I'm moving to Canada for a 4 year vacation. Who wants to come?

In better news, I'M GOING SHOPPING! I'm so pumped for this! It's my mom and I's annual shopping trip for stuff for me :) Ok, and maybe Christmas shopping but that's not important! We are leaving tomorrow night and coming back Sunday. I'm ready to spend some money!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Andrea

McCain 2008

I VOTED! And I sure hope you did too! This was my 1st voting experience so I was kinda excited to do so! Sean and I went together and this year we got to vote on the new computer machine. Very easy! Honestly, there shouldn't have been any reason why someone couldn't have gone and voted. I think Sean and I were there less then 10 minutes. No waiting, no lines! I know it's not that simple in bigger cities but still! This is a huge election, one that will effect us in the long run! I'm not afraid to hide who I vote for b/c I'm confident he should be the next President of the United States. I morally can't vote for someone that believes in pro-choice, raising taxes, banning firearms... seriously?!?! We should find out who the next prez is here in a few hours. I'm hoping for the best but thinking this retarded and immoral "change" might be upon us!

Other news, Sean & I took our adorable niece Abi to the Victoria football game tonight. We won (of course)! It was a really good game! Abi is obsessed with cheerleaders right now so I thought she would love going to watch them. It was so funny because she was actually really shy at the game and wouldn't cheer. We bought her these pom-poms (every cheerleader must have em') and she'd shake em' but that was about it. But at soon as we got home she was a cheering maniac! She's SOOO cute! Couldn't get a pic though because our batteries died :(

Yesterday I took some pictures of my nieces and my SIL down at a park here in Victoria. They turned out soo good!! :) Here's a few and if you want to see more head over to my photography blog @ www.andrearodger.blogspot.com. (Like that advertising :) )

Have a great night and here's to another 4 years!!!

Another Monday Blog

I might have just fallen in love with this blog... didn't want to wait until next Monday to share. It's called MomAdvice - and yes I know I'm not a mom, but they have some excellent resources for homemade cleaning supplies, ways to save money and my fav - organizing! Definitely check it out! You'll be oh so happy that you did!!!

Monday to-do list and Blog Monday

So I am so blessed to have this wonderful Monday off. These are the kind of Mondays I enjoy! So I have lots to do. For the record, I could so be a stay-at-home wife! :) Kids or no kids :) Anyways, here's my to-do list to keep me trucking along and keep me from playing on the Internet (i.e. stalking blogs) Oh, and that reminds me of something. I'm starting my own "blog Monday." Every Monday I'm going to blog about a blog I stalked the week before or one that I absolutely love. Today's blog is This Mama makes stuff. She has some really cool ideas and I have a few of those things on my own craft to-do list. One thing I want to try is the stuffed letter pillow. I think it would be so cute on our couch to add a little touch. I'm going shopping this weekend and have some new material on my list to try this out!

Ok my own Monday to-do list:

1. Laundry - Check
2. Fold Laundry - check
3. Actually hang up the laundry instead of laying it in the bedroom :S - check check check! Go me
4. Reorganize my craft room - check
5. Finish sewing my baby blocks and cut out material for 2 more and pin together.
6. Make a baby block tutorial - this is a ?
7. Transcribe session 4 practice reports
8. Start session 3 test
9. Edit pics from Sunday's session - check
10. Design Xmas cards for 2 people
11. Wipe down all baseboards
12. Photo session with my adorable nieces - check
13. Wipe down walls in basement
14. Clean basement floor.

Ok I have to get to work. No more playing on the Internet... :S

ETA - I'm slacking for the most part - man I love the Internet. Here's what I really have been doing...

1. Visit with customer about pictures by e-mail for about an hour
2. Talk to Dad for 30 minutes
3. Talk with Mom for 30 minutes
4. Upload pictures to facebook
5. Stalking more blogs
6. Editing my own blog :S
7. Pay Bills

Back to work :)

Blogging

I must say I love blogging! But mostly, I love stalking other people's blogs! You can find so many interesting things out there on the Internet. Currently I loving craft blogs like this one. She's an awesome crafty person and I've gotten a lot of cool ideas from her. I'm always looking for more ways to use recycled materials and make things including my life more green! I also have a few money savvy blogs and a few organizing idea blogs. I. Love. Blogs. Pretty much I'm addicted. If you know of any, puh-lease let me in on your blog world!

I found this new hat stalking this blog which led me to stalk this blog. They have this super cute crocheted hat. I'm not a big hat wearer but if I could crochet this I would so wear it. This might be on my to-do-list... hmmm. Come on people, stalk with me! It's fun... and the best thing about stalking is no one knows your doing it. (That is if you don't blog about it, ha!)

Anyways -

Sean is heading back from the Chiefs game as we speak. I could probably give you a play by play on where he is since I feel like I'm calling every hour. I'm ready for him to be home and his "man" weekend to come to an end. I need a good snuggle.

Well I'm off! Peace Dude!

Boo!

Did I scare you?!?!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween! I LOVE Halloween b/c I love when all the cute kiddos come by. We did have to many this year but it was still fun. Our friends Jason and Becca came over for supper after they took their daughter, Claudine, around Hays.

Of course, I dressed Miss Reese up for Halloween! Boy was she cute! I wouldn't say she loved having the costume on, but she did a good job of pleasing her mom! And she was a hit with the kids!

Sean heads to the KU-KSU game this week to watch KU beat the pussycats. I say that but not sure if I believe it after the horrible game they played last week. Sean is taking our friend Tony with him and Tony managed to score them some tickets to the Chiefs game. He'll have a great time during his "man" weekend! I'll enjoying sleeping in the middle of the bed! :) And No honey, Reese will not sleep in the bed with me! ;)

Here's pics of tonight!

We bleed crimson & blue

If you missed the 8ft blow up Jayhawk sitting in my front yard on game days post below, I will inform you that there are 2 loves in Sean's life. 1 is KU and 2 is Me. And I'm afraid to admit, but it probably even goes in that order. Anyways, I'm sure you all know that KU got their butts spanked pretty dang hard by Texas-Tech...such a sad sight. So sad we left in the 3rd quarter. Anyways, while we were on campus we decided to take some shots of us plus Miss So Stinkn' cute Reesie. It was SUPER windy and ended up breaking my one lens in the process of getting some good shots. Great huh? Wind + tripod= not the greatest pictures. They turned out ok but I'm in quite "in love" with them. Whatya think?
My 2 loves : Sean & Reesie (He was so excited to hold her in her jersey for this picture!!! Can't you tell?)
My 1st child - We looked so cute in matching outfits! You can definitely tell I need a baby to dress up!
One hot couple!
And well, had to end the post with the best picture out there! Aren't I adorable!?

October 25, 2008

Boo hoo KU

So we headed to the KU game and unfortunately they lost :( Super sad. And I should say we didn't just lose, but we got spanked! We actually left at about the end of the 3rd quarter it was that bad! Tonight we went to this place called KiKu's for Sara's 25th! I heart this place. It's the best Japanese food ever! And the atmosphere is awesome. Definitely eat there if you ever get the chance! I'll post some pictures of it when I get a chance to upload them. Tomorrow we are heading back to Hays after we go to the campus and take some pcitures for our christmas card and do some shopping! Have a great rest of the weekend!

Peace out Cub scout!

Let's get caught up

So first off, I HATE this weather. I don't like to use the word hate very often since it's such a harsh word but in this case, I find it perfectly suitable! But one thing I do love is filling up my gas guzzler of a vehicle for under $50 buck. Yes folks, that is right -- under 50 bucks!!! You have no idea how exciting that is. It's normally been close to $80! And with our trip to Topeka this weekend for the KU - Texas -Tech game I couldn't be happier!

Anyways, I was stalking some blogs and found this. It's called the Slanket and it's genius! I'm always freezing so this would be perfect. It's like a blanket/robe and well honestly, I'm in love. If anyone feels to the need to buy me a Christmas present - I want this (really, really bad)!

Ok, now for some pictures. We went to a wedding on 10.11.08 and well, let's just say we had a really great time. It was a beautiful wedding and the bride looked great!

Then Sean and I got asked to go to tailgreat for FHSU with our "lake crew". They won free tickets so decided to make the day of it. We tailgated, bbq'd, drank a bit too much, and watched FHSU lose. I'm not sure about this, but I don't think I've been to a game where we actually won. I think I'll be sticking to KU games, but it was still a fun experience! This last pic is of my "adopted" niece Claudine. She's my really good friend's daughter and I pretty much love her. Anyways, I'm redecorating my office/craft room and she decided to help me paint one of my stars. She did a great job too!Oh, and one more. Here's a pic of the taggie blanket I made a little while back. I love making these and they are super easy. 30 minutes or less and you'll have one of these puppies! I've found a lot of things I want to sew/craft so I will be posting more. Maybe I'll even make some tutorials and feel "special"!

Won't get to post much the next couple days since we'll be outta town, but if I get a second I'll try to jot something down! Good luck KU!

Our Nieces

Sept 24th was our oldest nieces' 4th birthday!!!! It's really hard to believe that she's 4! Her parents threw her a surprise party at the city park and she was definitely surprised! It was so cute when she showed up but when she realized it was for her, she got shy! So cute! Anyways, here are a few pics of Sean and I with Abi and Avery! I'm sure I've said it before, but I LOVE being an aunt!!!

Abigail being a ham! She takes after me with wanting to be in front of the camera!!! We love to pose!
Avery at almost 10 months! It's hard to believe her 1st birthday is just around the corner!

You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you.

Yes, it has been a while.

I really want to blog more, if not on a day to day basis but I have been so busy these past few days. Honest. Anyways I thought I'd finally post a picture. My wonderful husband that I love oh so much decided to buy a decoration for the outside of the house. This is his idea of house decorations.

And this is a picture to show how big it really is.

So yes, my husband bought an 8 ft tall inflatable Jayhawk. He promised me it would only be up on gamedays. Nice, huh!

Anyone feel bad for me? I know my husband loves the Jayhawks more than anything (and I'm evening questioning if KU comes before me) but isn't this a bit much? Oh, Seany! A special thanks to Wal-mart for deciding to sell these.

P.S. Isn't my hubby cute ;) Love you and your jayhawk madness!

Blah, blah, blah

Hey fellow readers... (aka Becca)

Really, not to much to blog about. Sean and I went to a wedding Saturday. Our friends Meagan and Tyler got hitched and threw one heck of a wedding reception. We had a really good time and drank way to much. So we spent Sunday doing nothing but sleeping. I slept 14 hours yesterday! Wow... love sleeping! But then of course, I slept like crap last night. Nothing to exciting going on this week. I have lots to do but no motivation. I'm in a blah mood today (hence the title). So this is short and sweet!

Night!

October 6, 2008

Oh what a weekend!

This weekend was very busy! I had 3 photo sessions planned, but only had 2 due to the weather! My first was the pumpkin patch with Becca, Jason and family. We had a good time and got some good pics. Oh, and the pumpkin patch was fun. They had chickens, goats, couple different mazes, and face painting! Much more exciting then getting pumpkins from Wal-mart! Then I had a session with Miss Bryn and her new sister Miss Braylee. Oh how I love babies! Whenever I got home, I noticed my headache was worse (had one since I woke up). So I went to sleep at 7:30ish and slept til 11. When I woke up, my headache was 10X worse. I hardly slept and felt like my head was ran over by 15 trains. Yes, not just 1, but 15. So I stayed home today and tried to sleep it off. No luck so far! So I plan on sleeping and hanging out for the rest of day. Oh, and watch Jon and Kate, the Hills, and One tree Hill. Love Monday night TV!

Oh, and I didn't weigh this morning again. But I can guarantee that didn't lose any! I need to really get motivated!

Have a great Monday!

October 2, 2008

This is a pointless post!

I have been going to bed SO late for me recently. I've come to the conclusion that I need more than 24 hours in a day.

I've been working on Photography all evening and finally submitted my orders. Nice sized order I should add! I'm so excited! Things have really been picking up! I've also tried to sew every night. Won't get to anything tonight but I'm hoping to finish a few and post them on here! I'm in love with Taggies right now. If you don't know what they are, then look at my post in a few days when I post pics! I love them!

Nothing to much going on. I'm driving to the big city of Beliot with Becca tomorrow and then have 3 photo sessions this weekend! YEAH!

Hope everyone finishes out the week with a great friday!

No gonna lie...

I didn't weigh myself Monday. Not on purpose though, just totally forgot. Same with today. So I'll wait until next Monday and I better see 134 or else... Not to much to blog about. Work sucked that past 2 days but I made it through alive. Work is so much better these days. It's amazing what happen to moral when you get rid of someone with a bad attitude/work ethics... oopss :S Did I just blog that? ;)

I got some new crafts to post, but I'm going to wait until I upload some new pics!

Have a great night!

Andrea

Fun Fact: I love Birthday Cake Ice Cream... It's like an explosion in your mouth! :) Love it!

Weigh in is tomorrow!

So this 1st has been HORRIBLE! I'm dreading tomorrow morning... for 2 things! 1. The weigh-in. 2. We have both doctor's in all day! Shoot me in the head please! Nothing to exciting happened this weekend. Our friends, the Geschwetner's won tickets to FHSU homecoming Saturday, so they invited us and we got there about 10:30 to tailgate! We had a lot fun even if FHSU football isn't anything to cheer about! We only stayed for the 1st 1/2 then tailgated the rest of it! We even got some free Budweiser gear for being one of the early birds! I drank a little to much and felt like blah the rest of the evening so nothing eventful happened afterwards. Today I got up and cleaned my craft room/office! Looks much better. Then I organized some client prints I got in the mail and really that was it. Oh, I also made my 1st tag blanket. I'd love to post a picture for my camera is being retarded. I can't get the USB to fit into the port so it won't connect to the camera. Ugh! But it's pink minky on one side then this cup cake pink and brown flannel on the back with ribbon on the sides! It's adorable! I plan on giving it to Miss Avery! She's so lucky to have a crafty aunt like me! Or just a aunt like me in general! :) (Just kidding...kinda). I plan on making a bunch more and giving them to friends and for presents. I also have been thinking about opening an etsy store... just thinking. I'd need to get some thing in stock first but it be way fun. For those that don't know Etsy is an ebay type thing for people that make homemade items. They have some really cute things, definitely check it out! www.etsy.com! Well that's about it! Hopefully tomorrow I can't post some pictures! Good night yall!

I suck...

at life. Sean and I like to use this saying whenever the other one does something stupid. It's all for fun and we really don't mean it, but it normally makes one or both of us laugh! Anyways, I decided I suck at life today because I CAN'T STOP EATING LIKE A PIG! I'm in love with food... love love love love it. Becca and I went to Arby's for lunch... She told me I couldn't blame it on her this time so Becca, it's not your fault! Ate like a million calories there. Dinner was good - small bowl of Spaghetti and 2 pieces of bread. Much better. Now if only I'd work out.... maybe tomorrow!

Day 3...

Still no good. I need slapped. Recap of yesterday. My niece's birthday party=cake= I had a huge piece= zero working out. Ugh... I need motivation. Wouldn't you think tight pants would be a good motivator? Not for me - i work in scrubs...that stretch! I'm screwed. Then today we had satellite so we eat lunch out. Rueben and fries w/ extra ranch! What is wrong with me? This is going to take work. Fingers crossed for a better day tomorrow.

On a better note, my adorable Niece Abi turns 4 today! Love you Abi!

Day 1...

was not a good start. Hope this isn't the vibe for the next 3 months! Anyways, here's the vitals. Weight: 135 - gag me :S
Hoping to lose 15 lbs by Christmas day! Basically breaks down to like 1.1 lbs per week!

Today was Miss Wanda's birthday in the office so we had an office lunch! The office manager ordered Quizno's (loves it) so of course I pig out. I did well with breakfast but not lunch or supper. I get home, super exhausted and end up eating a frozen pizza. Oh and don't worry, I didn't just eat 1 or 2 pieces. Try the whole shabang... nice one girlfriend! Like I said, I'm off to a bad start! Good thing I don't have to weigh until next monday. Oh, and I didn't workout either...double whammy! :) Oh and can't do much tomorrow since we have our niece's birthday party! I can't believe she'll be 4 on Wednesday!!!!

Ok, wish me better luck tomorrow!

Hate Mondays

Not a fan of the word Hate, but if I'm going to use it, then it's going to describe Monday. Especially Mondays with a certain doc in the office. Oh well, can't change anything so why even complain?
Weekend went WAY to fast. I spent just about every waking moment working on photography... WOW. Seriously I probably spent about 22 hours on the computer this weekend. Considering I slept about 21 hours in 2 days :) LOVE sleeping! But I got a ton done! A few of my marketing brochure's, 6 client pictures done and almost done with #7. Also did some referral cards and almost finished up my pricelist! Go me! Nothing else too exciting. Sean spend about the same amount of time outside this weekend as I did inside. He's working on some custom KU cornholes or something like that. They look really awesome - my hubby is Mr. Wood carpenter guy now. Other than that... nothing else. Tomorrow I start my "getting back in shape" diet thing. It's not really a diet since I'm not going to starve myself. Just going to get healthy and back in shape! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Love, Andrea

Time for a change

I'm going to let you in on a secret. I've gotten a bit tubby since I've been married! Not to bad, but definitely gaining back what I had lost prior to getting married. I've hit "that" point to where I know I need to make a change. So starting Monday, the "change" goes into effect. I'm hoping my readers - yes you, Becca and my mom will not let me cheat and encourage me along the way! :) I had an elliptical and sold it a few months ago b/c I had stopped using it and it was just using up space but now Sean and I are putting a workout room in our basement for all our workout stuff. I'm not much of a runner but can go on the elliptical forever! So I'm hoping to find one on Nex-tech and use that to help drop some pounds like it did the first time! So this is my plan. I want to lose 15 lbs by Christmas. I'm going to start Monday and will "check in" and weigh myself every Monday. Wish me luck... I'm going to need it!

Becca, this mean no more eating out lunch! And this time, I HAVE to do it :)

On a different note, I love weekends. I've been able to catch up with some pics this weekend and have spent 10 hours so far today working away on the computer. If you check my Photography website in the next up coming weeks you'll see my new stuff!

Have a great weekend!

Gross!

If you know me well, you know I didn't eat red meat for many, many years. Sean and I had just met (the first time) and I was getting ready to meet his sister and BIL. Well they all BBQ'd burgers and I had yet to tell Sean that I didn't eat dead cow. So I disgustingly ate this hamburger b/c I didn't want to make a big deal out of this. After all, Sean and I had just met and I was wanting to impress this boy. After that day I finally told him and of course he made fun of me ( he's good at that :) ) but was ok with it. He then told his meat-eating family and they went above and beyond to make sure there would be something I'd like whenever we all got together. Forward 6 months and we went to the state fair and I had a burger there and decided that I would try to start to eat more meat. Ever since then I've been a hamburger eating gal and no longer have to squirm whenever someone cooks burgers and no chicken. Well then forward to about 2 months ago and I decided I would try to eat steak again. It's been probably 13+ years since I've had a steak. So Sean made these steaks for us and now I love them! I even ordered my first steak EVER at a restuarant the weekend we went to KC for my parents anniversary. My only thing is I have to have something to dip the steak in, i.e. BBQ sauce, steak sauce, even ranch! Well the whole reason of telling this story is that tonight Sean and I are going out to his parents house to play with dead animal meat. His parents bought a pig for them, us and Sean's sister's fam. I find the thought of this utterly disqusting and have sweet in-laws that are letting me get away without doing it. My job is to babysit the girls while everyone else digs there hands into raw dead animal - blah! I can't quite handle that yet. Baby steps I'm telling ya, baby steps.

September 14, 2008

Almost Fall!

I'm not a fan of cold weather, but definitely a fan of fall! I love it til about the time we start seeing frost on the windows and and the heat needs to be turned on!
This is what I love about fall:
1. Fall decorations
2. Holidays
3. leaves changing ( perfect picture time)
4. football
5. sweatpants get to come back out of the closet
6. colder weather clothing
7. cold weather food - Chili and noodles over mashed tators!

And pretty much that's it! But I'm still excited - except for the cold weather. I hear its going to be a very long winter - blah! ( I'm kinda already looking forward to spring too!)

P.S. My tooth still hurts like a biznitch!

G'night!

-Andrea

September 12, 2008

Picture Post

We celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary this past weekend with a trip to KC for some shopping and gambling ( lost 40 bucks!) Anywho, we took some family pictures and I happen to think they turned out pretty good!!!

On a better note, the tooth, or actually the screw is starting to feel better. I've officially stopped puking and the horrific headache is starting to go away... Here's to things looking up!

September 11, 2008

Pain, pain go away...

I did something stupid Wednesday. I consented to having oral surgery. Why? Who knows but it really sucks! I still have baby teeth and about 3 years ago I had to have one of my molars pulled and at my last dental appt they took x-rays of how bad my tooth was shifting... so I got the talk about how I needed an implant. And this time I consented. I've been putting it off for about, well, 3 years now. So I decided I would do it under conscious sedation b/c the whole idea of knowing what was going on (i.e. drills, shots, etc) does not thrill me in anyway shape or form. So Tuesday night I had to take a Valium so I'd sleep really good (which I did!!)! Then at 8:00 am I had to take 2 pills that would make me feel like I drank a lot and help me not to remember anything going on. I guess Sean said I kept saying I felt like I weighed an extra 50 lbs and that my arms felt so heavy. I don't really remember getting to the office but I do remember having to take extra pills b/c I wouldn't fall asleep and I kept talking, asking them what they were doing. I remember the drills but not the shot. When it was all over I guess I thought I could walk but I couldn't and ended up falling out of the chair! Go me! After the appt we had to go to wallyworld to get my meds and Sean pushed me around in a wheelchair. Again I don't really remember any of this - Sean told me that I kept asking for a lot of food! Since then I've slept alot and everytime I wake up I forget everything I did before so therefore I've asked Sean the same questions over and over! Unfortunately I found out I'm allergic to lortab so besides being in pain and puking all the time, I'm doing great ( lots of sarcasm there!) Anywho, I need more meds and I'm off to bed!!!

P.S. Moral of this story - Don't get a tooth implant!
P.S.S Becca, I'm glad your doing better than I am and I'm glad you love your flowers!!!! :)

Night ya'll!

Love paid holidays!

I think one of the better benefits our office offers is the paid holidays! LOVE THEM! It was so nice to not have to wake up at 6 and drag myself to work (even though work is getting better :) ). The holiday weekend wasn't the greatest one I've ever had. We went to the lake this weekend but didn't have the greatest time due to the weather. It was way windy and not very enjoyable. We ended up leaving early on sunday even though we had planned to stay til the evening and Sean's parents were going to come and hang out with us. We quickly nixed that after seeing how windy it was again on Sunday. It was a fun weekend just not the best. The lake was really high and all the beaches were under water so we weren't able to sit on the beach and hang out. We tied up with 3 other boats in the middle of the lake but the current was so strong we quickly found ourselves up on shore. So Sean and I came back sunday morning and hung out with his parents at their house while I did my favorite thing ever -- take a nap!!

So today I find myself working on some pictures and hopefully cleaning the basement. We think we have mold - great! Hope everyone had a great Labor day!

P.S. I can't believe it's Sept. already. Less than 4 months til' Christmas!

August 24, 2008

Another weekend roundup

I can happily say that I was a cleaning machine this weekend! My craft room is finally starting to be organized and I heart it!!!! I took before pics so I'll try to post those soon and then when it's all finished I will post after ones! I worked hard on this room this weekend. I got rid of a ton of stuff and bought a few new things - oops! :) I got new organizers for my scrapbooking stuff and a ton of new clear plastic boxes for other things in the room that I wanted to put away in the closet in an organized fashion! I also got a DYMO label printer and must say I'm in love! All my drawers and tubs are nicely organized and look fantastic! My father in law also came over and helped the hubby put up a ceiling fan in our bedroom and then a light fixture in my office! My bedroom looks great and all is left is a few decor items and then crown molding! OH, and maybe some new bedding :) This almost 100-yr-old house is finally starting to come together and be a "HOME" for Sean and I. All we have left is molding in the hallway, making a new laundry room, and finishing the basement so Sean can have a "man" room! Or a Jayhawk Shrine as I would call it. But this means all his video games are going to the basement! I'm also going to re-do my bathroom - again! I painted it once but not really loving it so I'm going for a 2nd try. And this time we are upgrading the fixtures, too. Way excited. I'm going to try and recruit my friend Becca to join me in the awesomeness that is re-decorating. She's gonna love it (I hope!)

As for the rest of the weekend, we also had our nieces' dedication at church today. So Sean's family got together and we had a nice lunch after church. I'm very blessed to have such a great 2nd family.

Well, it's time for me to get my daily beauty sleep! Night ya'll!

The beginning of the weekend

Well this week was kinda crazy so I'm happy to finally have the weekend here! Thursday and Friday were "hell days" at work. So the weekend was very much needed! I'm actually in Great Bend now for the weekend. Came up last night and I was supposed to go to Hutch today with my parents but I was to tired and wanted to sleep in. But because I love sleep so much I missed a day shopping at Hobby Lobby and Target - stupid me! My parents are at Lowe's finishing up the plans for their new kitchen as we speak and should be headed back to GB soon so we can get to fixing things up around their house. My parents have been begging for me to come back and help and I finally had a free weekend. Sean is off to see his beloved KU basketball player Mario Chambers at the Mall in Hays for a autograph signing. You have to buy this KU book and then Mario will sign it along with one other thing. Even though Sean won't admit it, he's really excited! Now if only Toddy Reesing was doing the signing and I'd be the first one in line... mmmm Hottness!! :) We finally received our season tickets in the mail a week or two ago and so we are very much looking forward to some games. I love going to the games, just hate paying for the weekend when we are there. We always seem to spend way to much money!!! We'll I should probably get ready for the day! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

It's been a while...

So time for a update! Over the weekend, Victoria had it's annual Herzogfest! This year they had country singer Ty Herndon sing on Friday. Unfortunately I drank a tad bit much and can't really remember much of the concert. I remember him singing but I couldn't tell you if it was good or not, though it most likely was! Sean and I had a great time hanging out with our friends and just enjoying the night. Everyone that knows me knows I don't drink very often. But when I do -- watch out! My friend Meagan & I went up to the front of the stage with me during the concert and we had a blast taking pictures with Ty! My office manager from work come over to Victoria and actually had a cop come up to me while I was up in front at the stage and take me out of the crowd and then pointed her out to me. I about sh*t my pants! I thought I was in trouble but good ol' Kelly just wanted to play a joke on me! Props to her, she did a good job! All I have to say is I have a very patient husband when I drink because I was outta control! Good thing he loves me :)! Other than that, I spent Saturday hungover and remember again why I don't like to drink. Saturday night was pretty subdue as we just hungout again at Herzog but this time without alcohol! They had a fireworks display that was good and then Sean and I headed home. Herzog is only a block from our house, so it was a short walk! Sunday I had a photography session with a family and we had a good shoot! We played in the water and got wet, but it was fun! They pictures turned out pretty cute, too! Not to much else. Our plans are undecided for this weekend. Might head out to the lake on Saturday or I might head to GB and help out the parents on the house and see some friends!

We'll Sean and I are headed on a bike ride! Peace ya'll!

A crazy moment...

is what I had last night :) Normally I'm not much of a complainer but after enough frustration I needed to vent! It kinda makes me laugh now :) I'm grateful for my life and really shouldn't complain. I know I have more than some and I'm very lucky to be in the place I am now! Anywho... I was really frustrated last night because I saw a million grammar mistakes in that post! O well, frustration and late night venting doesn't add up to much! Not much new in my world right now. Slowly progressing with my homework and would like to get a few baby items sewn for one of our doctor's whose wife is having her baby tomorrow. I also have a family session wednesday evening and looking forward to that... but that's about it! Nothing exciting!

I'm tired

I think this post is going to turn into a vent. Get ready.

1. I really am tired. I have so much to do, so many hobbies, so many commitments that I'm just tired. I love having stuff to do, love having hobbies, and love having commitments but I'm tired. I should not complain about this because I'd rather be busy then a couch potato. Sean and I have been on the run for about 2 months now. We go to the lake just about every weekend we are free and while I love going, it's a LOT of work. Between packing, unloading, reloading, and unpacking, it becomes more work then fun sometimes. But we've made so many friendships and so many memories I wouldn't change it. It's something we enjoy doing together but still... it's a lot of work! We've gone on vacation, which was awesome, but when we got home we had laundry and we had to clean and we didn't get to relax. We finally had a weekend home and it was so nice to get semi-caught up on things but I'm still not caught up. Maybe 45% but that would be pushing it.

2. I'm really tired of not feeling appreciated. This goes with many aspects of my life. Sean makes me feel appreciated on most days but lately I haven't done much for him to appreciate. I'm tired of doing things for people, helping them out and not receiving any appreciation for it. I don't EXPECT it but it would be nice every now and then. I normally wouldn't care b/c I'm doing things for people I care about, but recently it's gotten worse. Maybe I need to stop being helpful. But I can't, because that's not me. I wouldn't be who I am if I wasn't helpful, if I didn't go over the top to help, and I wouldn't feel good about myself if I didn't do these things. I don't other's aren't like me, but if they aren't going to be helpful can't they at least thank the person that is? I think most of the world has come to expect things and take things for granted instead of appreciating things. I also don't appreciate people putting others or myself down in order to make them feel better about themselves. Why can't people be nice? Plain and simple - worry about your self- NOT OTHERS!
Ok that's it. Enjoy? I'm off to may some to-do list ( my fav!)

Good night folks.
