More of Miss Stella

I had just realized I had not finished posting about the first few days home with Miss Stella.

Danica and her brother, Brody and their mom and dad (longtime friends of Sean's) stopped by to meet Stella.

Miss Abi meeting her new cousin!

First bath at home!

Ready to go for her first doctor's appt! She checked out great weighing 8 lbs at 5 days old. She had gained 2 oz in about 3 days.

Love this little dude! This was pre-haircut so his hair was super curly and crazy!

KK and Ty came to visit and the bffs finally got to meet! Harper is about 3 months older!

Love all of them SO much!

Sisters in their Ku outfits!

This was Stella's first game and first time wearing KU - minus her coming home outfit! Daddy loved it!

Uncle Bro, Aunt Kelci and Ben came to visit and this is what the kids did most of the time. They love their Uncle Bro!

And they also love to wrestle! :)

He's gonna make a good big brother - some day! :) Gotta love their Steelers clothes too! :) Even if we lost!

So blessed!

Vacation part 2

The next morning we headed out to Deanna Rose Farmstead. It is a free place to go with lots of different animals! There was so much to do and we didn't even get to see it all. Between the heat and cranky kids, we ended up leaving after 2 hours!

Lyla loved feeding the goats and Cohen hated it! :) He got super freaked out if the animals swarmed him!

I kinda like the goats too! :)
Besides the animals, they had tractor rides, wagon rides, horse rides, fishing, feeding goats milk, etc. There was seriously a lot to do!

Lyla's first time riding a horse I think!

 She loved it!
Next up was fishing, but they didn't have much luck. The fish kept getting the worms off the hook, but right before Sean was about to give up, they finally caught one!

Told you he was freaked out! :)
They swarmed Lyla quite a bit too, so Sean ended up feeding the goats their milk!
And then seeing a real cow close up. Again, Cohen was in heaven! :)
After that we headed to Lawrence for a little walking on mass street, then to Topeka, ran a few errands, ate dinner, and then headed to our hotel where we got to swim!  The kids were worn out by the end of our trip! It wasn't anything to special but we made lots of memories together and that I love! Love my little family!

Mothers' day 2013

I had such a great Mother's Day! We started off the day with church and our nephew Hoyt, got dedicated! After lunch to celebrate, our family, my parents and Sean's mom and Nana all met up and we drove to the Rolling Hill Zoo for a day together!

They have a new penguin exhibit and I was SUPER excited to go. Unfortunately it was a bit of a let down with 4 penguins in about a 8 foot encloser.

The kiddos favorite part (and mine too) was the petting zoo part! The kiddos loved getting to feed the animals (me too)!

This is what happens when a random person takes your picture and doesn't know how to work the camera. A off centered picture! :)

Lyla said her favorite animal was the giraffe and I'm still disappointed we haven't been able to feed them! Every time we go, they don't have the feeding station open!

All the moms and kiddos! :)

After the zoo, we met up Ty and Kayla in Salina and took our parents to the Hibachi grill (my favorite place to eat in Salina). It is such a fun place to eat!

So to sum it up, I had a wonderful mothers' day! And I actually felt good and wasn't puking so all was good! :)
