Hellooooo Motivation

I have zip.zero.zelch.nonwhatsoever. motivation to clean lately. Or actually motivation to do anything that doesn't involve photography or Lyla or Sean. So the ol' house has been neglected big time. So big that I think my mom should come help. (Hi Mom!) Except she can't because she feels the need to go to Wichita to see that lil' brother of mine. (Hi Kev & Kelci). So, it is up to me. And I now have 4 days to get it done. We were supposed to head to the lake for a 4 day "vaca" per se, but our lovely camper decided it didn't want to keep us cool anymore. Yup...we get to purchase a new A/C for it. Lucky us. So now I have 4 days home with the hubby and baby girl and I'm hoping to get a lot done. A lot.

A lot of cleaning. A lot of playing. A lot of photography stuff. A lot of blogging. Um... a lot of sleeping??? :)

I wish.

If only Wal-mart sold motivation.

Aannndddd we're back...

Seany boy and I took a little anniversary (our anni is the 7th) getway this past holiday weekend to KC. More to come on that lake...but I'm exhausted and have much to do!

I thought about having Sean write a post because he is this big history buff but I figured you would all be bored to death. Like I usually am, not! :)

Sadly, I'm missing this 1st holiday with Lyla (tear,tear) but she's getting lots of good lovin with her granna and pops. I'm hoping they take lots of pictures in her 4th of July outfit (hint, hint) and that she is wearing her matching bow (hint,hint). Did you catch that oh-so subtle hint?

Playdate!

My friend Shelly came over last night with her little boy who is just about the same age as Lyla, just 9 days apart! She has 3 other boys so it was nice to just let the babies play! Dalton is crawling fool so I was hoping Lyla would learn a thing or two from him...but as you will see, that wasn't the case!

Oh, and Shelly it is the tortoise and the hare. :)

My little Bro

Whew...I've been busy and have lots of blogging to catch up on. The weekend of June 6th we headed off to one of the best cities in Kansas - Lawrence - to watch my little brother compete in a half Ironman triathlon. He swam 1.something miles (I think), biked 56 miles, and ran 13.1 miles. I think he is pretty much nuts of all that, but at the same time, super proud of him! You did great Kevin and you kinda make me want to get off the couch and go run...almost! :) But he placed 347 (again, I think??) out of roughly 2000 people. Good job kiddo!!! We are all super proud of ya!

Pretty girl is a people watcher so she loved watching all the people run by... including people in 70's...yes they were old and running 13.1 miles. Is it bad I can't even run 1? Hmmm.

Time to baby proof!

Oh my...I kept wishing for this day and now I'm kinda sad that it is here! :( I'm so proud of her though! She looks so cute! Sean walked into her room to get her after her nap and she army crawled in her crib. So Sean put her on the floor and she was all over!!! Yay for Lyla!



She is feeling much much better (thank god!) so we went and played in the pool for a bit this evening. She looks like a cute little fish (except I *really* don't think fish are cute!).
