Easter Part 2 - Easter morning

 Easter Morning! :) The kids each got a few things... books, money, some little toys and Cohen got some puffs. Then they both got the little drum and it has been a hit! They have loved it!

 We went to church out at Sean's old church with his family and then headed back to Russell to hang out with his family! I tried to get a few pictures but I had my setting wrong and majority of the pictures turn out horrible! Including the ones of just the kids in their Easter outfits so I'm going to try and take some here soon. As in sometime before next Easter! :)

Easter part 1

Dying Easter eggs!!! I've done this with Abi since Sean and I started dating the 2nd time!  I had painted the kitchen that day and Brenda had come over to watch the kids while I did so.  Then Gary, Dan, Nee and the girls came over for dinner!  We BBQ'd for the first time in our new house! ;) 

Lyla didn't really get the concept of the whole dying process as she liked to just dump the egg and didn't want to wait for it to change colors! ;) But we successfully dyed 35 eggs - one had died in the boiling process.

 Here is a little sampling of the new kitchen color!  It took me a little while, but it has grown on me and I love it now!

 We wrote all the name on the eggs that would be at Easter for the Easter egg hunt!

Love this time with all my girls! Next year we'll have a boy to add to the chaos! ;)

Lazy days

 We've had some beautiful weather lately and we have enjoyed spending the time outside in our new yard!  Here's more proof that Lyla's adores her brother!

 And this little boy is so close to crawling! Makes me sooo sad. I'm not ready for him to grow up!  These were taken on Monday and as of last night he had started moving his arms and legs once or twice before flopping back to his stomach. I bet he's a crawling machine by the time he is 8 months!

 He's also pulling a double whammy and pulling up on things.  For such a peanut, he's a strong little boy!

Again, I'm so blessed I get to stay home with my munchins. Love them to death!

Happy Birthday, Max

 I still can't believe it has been a year since I was blessed with an oh.so.sweet nephew!  Kelci and Kevin had a little celebration for sweet Max.  Before we went to the get together, we stopped to visit him and take him his present.  We got him a little KU flag! With having Sean as an Uncle, I'm sure Max would have wanted to be a KU fan, just like his uncle! :) We also got him 2 balloons, 1 for the grave and 1 that we let go for him. 

 

 It's hard to read, but Kelci wrote Happy Birthday on there!

 We then let one of the balloons go for him!  Lyla did the honors for us!

 I didn't manage to take many pictures at the get together, but I did get a picture of the 2 KU kiddos! :) After Lyla hugged him, he kept following her around! ;)

We had a good time and was glad we could be with Kevin and Kelci along with our families to celebrate Max's special day!

Happy 1st Birthday, Maxton!!

Happy 28th to me!

This birthday was relaxed and simple! I stayed in my PJs and the kids and I just hung out all day! I didn't even take one picture! :) I didn't want to get ready and go to town for dinner so Sean ordered Applebee's and got me a cake! ;)  For my birthday, I'll be getting a new puppy but we are waiting until after my trip to Houston to get one. He also surprised me with a tennis racquet! I had mentioned to him that I wanted to play this summer with him, so he got me one!

And that, was my 28th birthday! I got to spend it with my loves and that's all that really matters!

Brotherly/sisterly love

Lyla just loves, loves, loves him! She's always asking to hold "towin finn". I just love the way she says his name! While we were back at my parents house, she wanted Cohen to watch Mickey with her. When I went to pick him back up, she put her arms around him and wouldn't let go! :)

Today I discovered his right top front tooth broke the skin. So we are now at 5 teeth! He also has tried peas and acorn squash this past week and likes both of them!

I have pictures to post from our weekend and I'll hopefully post those tomorrow! :) We had a good weekend - just went by too quick! :) But don't they all?
